Dusk Till Dawn came about in 2004 when Nottingham-based businessmen, Rob Yong and Nick Whiten, were turned away from a local poker tournament because they were one minute late, and decided to open a live poker venue with the fun and well-being of players as their main mission. A place where players are treated like valued customers, not just bums on seats.
Since then, Dusk Till Dawn has become a top name in the UK poker market and a driving force in terms of innovation, tournaments and service. ‘DTD,’ as it is commonly known, is famous for a lot of ‘firsts,’ including setting large guarantees on tournaments, offering Deepstack events, and bringing together online and live poker into one tournament via our partnership with partypoker.
What You’ll Find
As the first ever UK poker venue to host a £1,000,000 Guaranteed tournament (UKIPT Nottingham in 2012), Dusk Till Dawn regularly offers massive guarantees on tournaments, including a monthly £300,000 Guaranteed Deepstack event. DTD doesn’t just cater for the high buy in tournaments, either-- they also offer a daily £25+£5 tournament, as well as a twice yearly Grand Prix, where players get a shot at up to £600,000 Guaranteed, for a buy in of under £100. Dusk Till Dawn also runs events outside of its Nottingham base, including Wembley stadium (actually on the pitch!), as well as a host of events at other football stadiums and hotels across the UK. They’re even known for a tourney or two in the sunnier climes of the Caribbean!
